Lawn Support came into fruition out of necesitty. As a local family of 4 with 2 members accessing NDIS, we had a great amount of difficulty in sourcing local supports. People who not only had both empathy and capacity to assist our family but who had a good understanding of the technical aspects of invoicing for Self Managed and Plan Managed participants.
Tristan and Ben talked at lengths about the kinds of support they envisioned with an "ideal provider" .They spoke at lengths about how vital it was that services could tailor innovative supports to work with participants. Tristan expressed that as an NDIS participant, he would like to support others on the scheme. He felt it was extremely important that supports understood some of the challenges that participants can face with accessing services and how this can impact on their day to day living.
Tristan has a passion for gardening, lawn care and environmental conservation; he has sought refuge in the garden many times over the years. He wanted to help others have a peaceful space that they could not only take pride in but had the time to enjoy. Above all else, Tristan wanted to help others like him. He wanted to provide both exceptional supports and encouragement that people with all abilities can work towards their own businesses.
Ben was excited at the prospect of being able to support other families within the local community. He set out to make their dream a reality. Ben felt that in order to offer inclusive services, Lawn Support needed to offer reliable, flexible and innovative services with an array of payment options making their services easily accessible. From this vision the Lawn Support journey began. We are so excited to have you join us!
